We are beyond excited to announce the launch of Saint Paul College’s brand-new website!

We have been hard at work revamping our digital home with a fresh look and feel that mirrors our growth, vision, and commitment to inclusion and innovation.

Each design element, from the carefully chosen fonts to the intuitive navigation, has been intentionally crafted to mirror our values and foster a welcoming and inclusive environment.”

While our previous website earned its fair share of accolades, including a silver medal at the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations, we realized it was time for an upgrade after seven years. We made it a point to better understand our users’ needs by conducting thorough surveys, focus groups, UX testing, and analytics reviews. These insights from prospective and current students helped shape the new website’s direction.

One of the most noticeable changes is the visual identity. We undertook a comprehensive brand refresh, integrating an updated and expanded color palette, an iconography library, original illustrated pictograms, and stunning new photos of our vibrant student community. 

Our commitment to equity and inclusion extends beyond mere words; it’s woven into the essence of our visual identity. Introducing two new font families is a key component of this visual transformation. Our primary font, Saint Paul Sans, exudes a modern, clean aesthetic. In contrast, VTC Terra garnishes our content with a distinctive, eye-catching panache.

The journey to select these specific fonts wasn’t by chance but by choice. They were meticulously chosen to resonate with our mission, vision, and values. Designers Tré Seals of Vocal Type and Pedro Arilla of Arillatype Studio, known for their passion and dedication to diversity, equity, and societal transformation, created these fonts. By incorporating their work, we enhance our brand’s aesthetic while promoting a narrative that resonates with our community. 

But it’s not all just about the aesthetics. Our new website sports a simplified and intuitive navigation system, robust search functionality, and innovative ways to delve into our diverse program offerings. Focused on mobile performance, the website allows for powerful visual storytelling and expanded use of multimedia to offer a seamless browsing experience on the go.
